Manuel Villar Lifac is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer whose musical journey began in Buenos Aires at the age of nine. From bass and guitar to cello, sitar, and dilruba, his path spans genres, instruments, and continents. With formal training in both classical and jazz traditions, Manuel holds a degree from the Buenos Aires School of Music and has performed with the National Youth Symphony Orchestra of Argentina.
Driven by a passion for integrating musical cultures, Manuel pursued studies in India to explore the spiritual and sonic landscapes of Eastern instruments. His work blends Western orchestration with Eastern philosophies, weaving together a musical worldview that reflects centuries of artistic and spiritual tradition. His award-winning film score for Axiomas exemplifies this global and expressive approach.
At InstruFEST, Manuel shares his knowledge of string instruments, cross-cultural traditions, and the deeper meanings behind musical expression. For him, music is more than art - it's a path to understanding and shaping reality.
