Georgia Muriti is an Australian multi-instrumentalist, composer, and music educator whose primary instrument is the violin. Inspired at age 10 by a family friend's playing, she began a journey that would take her through AMEB examinations, orchestral performances, and creative collaborations across styles. Alongside violin, she also performs on piano, guitar, and vocals, and has worked as both a soloist and ensemble musician.
Georgia has played with State Orchestras and attended composition workshops led by members of the London Symphony Orchestra. In Sydney’s funk and soul scenes, she has also taken the stage as a keyboardist and lead vocalist. Since 2016, she has taught privately, bringing together classical technique, modern creativity, and a passion for helping others find their voice through music.
Currently studying psychology in Australia, Georgia combines performance technique with psychological insight to help students overcome mental blocks and build musical confidence. At InstruFEST, she writes about learning instruments, the emotional side of performance, and the journey from beginner to musician.
